If you are using the GNOME interface and have the Serpentine audio CD-producing program installed, try this fun trick. (I'm doing this on Ubuntu Gutsy; things may look slightly different depending on versions and distributions.)

  1. Right-click on a directory containing an album's worth of mp3 files.
  2. Select "Open With Other Application..."
  3. Select "Serpentine Audio CD Creator"
  4. Hit return or click OK.

Serpentine will pop up and create an Audio CD. But what's even better is that from now on you will have the opportunity to open directories with Serpentine. Can't do that with Windows!
