I am now the owner of an '86 Camaro IROC Z28. This car has a transplanted 350 (5.7l) with TPI because the original 305 was fried. Sadly, it has the 4spd (auto overdrive) automatic.
The car is in good mechanical shape. At first glance, it needs the following work:

  • New front struts
  • Paint! Needs to be sandblasted first to remove surface rust.
  • New Interior. The interior is hosed, including a cracked dash, trashed seat upholstery, etc.
  • Fog lights don't light.
  • There's a dent in the FL 1/4 panel (pullable), a dent in the driverside door (pullable), and a chunk taken out of the driver side ground effect (needs replacement.)
  • It could use some racing seats. I'm 6'7".

Today I changed the fluids in the car, topped off the fluids, and took the pictures of the rusty-ass car at the top of the page, as well as taking off longhorn stickers and whatnot.
Because it's so hard to find, once I Found it, I linked the complete camaro faq here.

The Camaro got stolen and stripped a couple weeks ago. It's dead. Don't park an L98-powered camaro on the street in San Francisco.
