BEER SQUARE

A party game by Dan Glimne

Things you will need for this game:

  • Nine beer mats

  • Two thirsty beer drinkers

    RULES:

Arrange the nine beer mats in a 3x3 square.
Choose who is to start (Toss a coin / fight for it?)

    On each move you may

    A) Place a beer glass on any of the nine mats. You may place the glass as it is ,(i.e. FULL), or before placing the beer glass, drink from it so it becomes either half empty or completely empty.

or B) Take any of the beer glasses already placed on a mat, drink from it, and replace it on the SAME mat. If you take a full glass, you drink from it so that it either becomes half empty, or completely empty. If you take a half empty glass, you drink from it so that it is empty. The players take turns playing, and the winner is the one who first arranges it so there are THREE GLASSES OF THE SAME TYPE IN A ROW (straight or diagonally).

The LOSER buys the beer for the next game!

This (as in all beer games) is still subject to Rule #6: Throwing up means immediate automatic disqualification.
